blog: Creative Evaluation and the Digital (reminder to register) - a Lansdown Symposium 'Completing the Circle' London 19/Jan/09

Evaluative and creative approaches to art, design and media are often seen as belonging to different traditions. This event is intended to promote dialogue between them, centred on the changes made possible by interactive digital technologies. A set of internationally peer-reviewed papers will be followed by an opportunity for discussion.

This is a one-day symposium endorsed by the BCS Computer Arts Society and the Design Research Society, to be held in central London on Monday 19th January 2009.

blog: Registration is OPEN for one-day public symposium 'Completing the Circle: Incorporating Evaluation Methods in Creative Work'

Registration to attend is now open for a one-day symposium, endorsed by the BCS Computer Arts Society and the Design Research Society, to be held in central London on Monday 19th January 2009.

The symposium celebrates curiosity in creative digital work, bringing together artists, designers, computer scientists, developers and academics. All papers have been peer-reviewed by an international panel.

cfp: Generative Art Conference 2008: Call for papers

GA2008 will be held at Politecnico di Milano University on 16-17-18 December 2008 with an opening reception on 15 December.

Proposals (papers, posters, artworks/installations, live performances) are due by September 15 2008 and we are sure that with your contributions GA2008 will be, once more, a moment of great exchange of experiences and an occasion of meeting people working with the same approach in a wide range of different disciplines.

event: Generative Art Conference 2008

GA2008 will be held in Italy, at Politecnico di Milano University.

This is the eleventh annual GA conference. This event has grown in interest and importance to be the first reference for people researching and working with generative advanced approaches.
