Working in The Digital Design Studio (DDS), the largest research centre at the Glasgow School of Art, you will be expected to win research funding but also be actively engaged in commercial and research activities associated with Realtime simulation within a range of sectors.
As Head of Academic Programmes you will be responsible for leading the strategic academic development within the Digital Design Studio (DDS), providing subject leadership in research and knowledge transfer in addition to ensuring a challenging and supportive learning experience for students. A solid understanding of 3D visualisation and sound technologies is essential.

As part of a dedicated development team involved in the strategic development partnership between The Digital Design Studio and NHS Education for Scotland (NES). the Glasgow School of Art is looking to appoint a 3D Modeller to build and model new digital data associated with human anatomy involving input from a range of medical disciplines and 3D scanned data.
The Digital Design Studio (DDS) is a postgraduate research and commercial centre of Glasgow School of Art. Its intense learning and research environment exploits the interface between science, technology and the arts to explore imaginative and novel uses of advanced 3D digital visualisation and interaction technologies. Research activity at the DDS is underpinned by one and two year masters degrees and a growing PhD community. The DDS is dedicated to developing ways in which people can engage and interact with data and emerging digital visualisation systems.
