An investigation of changes in English grammar during the period 1961-1991. This project aimed to develop a new methodology for tracking changes in the language, to use comparable or 'matching' corpora of text samples, to employ tagging software and grammar-sensitive search tools and to provide part-of-speech tagged matching corpora for general distribution.
