project: The John Johnson Collection: an Archive of Printed Ephemera
Grant Holder:
The project catalogued, conserved and digitised an extensive selection of materials from the John Johnson Collection of Printed Ephemera housed in the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford. It represented an innovative joint enterprise between the Bodleian Library and ProQuest which resulted in the digitisation of more than 65,000 complete items (well in excess of 150,000 images) from the Collection, accompanied by detailed catalogue records. project: Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi (Phase II: Enhancing Stained Glass Studies)

The Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi (CVMA) is an international survey of stained glass. CVMA in Great Britain has so far published one hundred printed volumes to date in addition to the online publications which include a substantial image archive; a prototype digital publication of the stained glass in Norfolk; and an online magazine called 'Vidimus' (available at http://vidimus.org).
Phase I of the CVMA digital publication project provided access to a digital Picture Archive, containing nearly 18,000 images of medieval stained glass. [read more]
