This project looks at the extent of adoption of different web 2.0 tools in different subject fields and disciplines, and the different types of researchers who are using them. The project enquires into the factors that influence researchers to adopt and use Web 2.0 tools, and conversely the factors that prevent, constrain or discourage usage.

An Foras Feasa (at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth) is pleased to announce a new MA in Digital Humanities degree, designed to fill an identified gap in current educational and professional provision. It is designed for graduates from both the Humanities and the Computing Sciences, integrating the needs, practices and challenges of humanities research with new methodologies, theories and practices in Information Communications Technologies.

Course Fees

This scheme is designed to attract and enable up to 20 students to participate in the DH2010 conference. Successful applicants will be required to support the running of the conference for four hours each day.

1. Eligibility

Applications will be welcomed from registered PhD or MA students at higher education institutions, with no restriction on country.

2. Bursary provisions

The bursaries are designed to benefit the award winners in a number of ways:
* Free conference registration
* Free attendance at the Conference Dinner on Sat 10 July
